Today's Class we will:
-Choose Topic Issue for Persuasive Essay
-Create a storybird story using your topic issue with three supporting ideas


First you will go to:
1. AEA Online
-Click on SIRS Knowledge Source 9-12 (located on the leftside bar)
-Enter username: 1476cbalhs
-Enter password: greenhills
-Click on link and search for persuasive topic. REMEMBER NO SEX, DRUGS, ABORTION, OR GAY MARRIAGE 
-Write down interested topic in journal and then read silently until everyone is completed

2. Storybird
-Create a new account using your council bluffs school email
-You will need to create a password as well as username
-Write username and password in your notebook if you feel you will forget
-When you get signed in create a storybird
-You can browse the art and choose what theme to go with that will match your topic
-Mine was around 10 slides; yours should be around there too!
-Make sure you state your topic in storybird along with three supporting ideas

When finished read quietly!

2. Finish Notes:
-Pick one Iowa college to research the cost of tuition & room/housing costs
-Pick one college of your choice and do the same thing.
-For one or the other find a college course list of classes.
Write other websites down (for citation purposes) if you use them other than I have a Plan!!!


3. Begin Paper:
-Write Thesis Statement

Example: An athletic trainer is someone who helps to provide emergency or continued care or whether they should be sent to the doctor for further care. They make decision such as if the player is ready to participate in the play of games. They also report the health and progress of players recovering from injuries to their coaches.

Key point for this paper: The more information on your career the BETTER!
